What SafeZone is

SafeZone is a searchable community directory of publicly listed Hindu mandirs and places of worship in the United Kingdom. It is community maintained. It is not an incident map, police map, security certification, emergency service or guarantee that a location is physically safe.

Listings may be incomplete or change over time. Please confirm opening and access information directly with the mandir before travelling.

Where the listings come from

The current dataset is a user-supplied public directory of UK mandirs. It is recorded as a public source. Sarva does not own the list, has not independently verified every field, and must confirm reuse permission before treating the records as a Sarva-owned publication.

The listings are not an OpenStreetMap extract. The map basemap may still show OpenStreetMap cartography for streets and place names.

A missing marker does not mean a mandir does not exist.

What a marker does not mean

A listing is not an endorsement, a security inspection, a police-approved location, an emergency shelter, an official reporting centre, or a place monitored by Sarva. SafeZone does not describe mandirs as Third Party Reporting Centres unless that has been confirmed for that individual listing.

Corrections

Listings can be corrected. Suggestions are reviewed by a person and are not published automatically. Suggest a mandir or report incorrect details.
